For a variety of reasons they are leaving their homes in the hope of something better. They are escaping from war, famine, floods, persecution of one form and another, and an uncertain future.

Let us pray for the people of our Planet and for the Planet itself. May we learn to respect each other and the resources of Mother Earth so all will benefit.

The five year-old (above) offering us the Sign of Peace is about to be presented in the Temple in Japan. Let us take her desire into our hearts, homes and schools as we contemplate and celebrate the Mystery of the Incarnation.
